Just Me :)

Hi there,

I go by many names; Mom, wife, sister, friend, but mostly people just call me Liz…and Mom, I get called that a lot by my two littles. Recently I was hit with the fact that I am knocking on 30’s door. No, I am there, at the door, waiting to be let in. Currently my family and I are living in Ohio but I like to remind everyone that I am originally from California. Even though it’s been 10 years. As previously stated I’m a full time wife, mother, and also a type one diabetic. (Diagnosed in 2006) I’m tattooed, pierced and basically the most awesome person around. I’m a college graduate but have been spending most of my days making memories with my amazingly wonderful husband and our beautiful children. Being a stay at home mom is both rewarding and exhausting. I look at each day as an opportunity to learn and grow. Life’s a roller coaster, let’s enjoy the ride.

This blogs main focus will be my life as a diabetic and a mommy living in suburban Ohio.

My ideas usually come not at my desk writing but in the midst of living. —Anais Nin

  1. Hi, so blessed to have found this blog and i can’t wait to start checking out and following your posts. My wife Sarah lives with Type 1 diabetes and has an insolin pump so our lives are never boring! :D

    • I’m so happy you found it then. Thank you for following and reading. I appreciate it. Yes, living with diabetes or loving someone who has it is definitely not a boring life. Haha. :)

  2. I am also a mom in Ohio. I was blogging as a teacher and then my 9 year old was diagnosed with Type 1 in January. I am just now getting back into blogging and I am glad to be following you now too!

    • Thank you so much for the follow. I always look forward to meeting more people from Ohio. Blogging is such a great way to express yourself/thoughts/feelings. It’s the main reason I started mine. To find my own voice when it came to diabetes. :) Best of luck with your blogging adventures.
